Last month we loaded up the #MGairstream and traveled down to South Carolina to take part in the tenth annual Lowcountry Field Feast. This year’s event was hosted by Byrdhouse Public Relations and all proceeds benefitted Lowcountry Local First, a nonprofit that supports local and independent businesses and farms.
The event was made possible by its official media partner; Garden & Gun, and its sponsors; Synovus Bank, Kiawah River, Gathering Events and Moore & Giles.
The feast started with cocktails by Edmund’s Oastserved from our Airstream, featuring drinks from Charleston, South Carolina’s Edmund’s Oast. Local beer and wine was served on the lawn that overlooked the picturesque Kiawah River. The four-course seasonal supper was tag-teamed by four renowned Charleston restaurants—FIG, the Ordinary, the Grocery, andLe Farfalle—which made it a meal we won’t soon forget.
