MODERN ANTHOLOGY

Born directly under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass, Modern Anthology serves as both a retail store and a full service interior design firm at their stylish Brooklyn storefront. Our friends, Rebecca Citron and John Marsala, have a lengthy background in set design and TV production. They helped to create the HGTV DIY series, “Man Caves,” where they created exclusive refuges for men to hang out in their own homes. Their chic style and eye for timeless masculine pieces have merged to create the ultimate sophisticated “man cave.”

Inside their Jay Street storefront you will find a mix of contemporary designs and timeless vintage pieces all meshed together to create an inspiring new style. It is an excellent place to pick up one-of-a-kind, high-quality pieces – which is why we are especially excited to have our bags and accessories displayed.

Rebecca and John’s eclectic style and design background set the stage for an opportunity to collaborate alongside our in-house designer, Thomas Brennan, to design a sleeker, slimmer briefcase for the modern man. The result? The Jay Briefcase, aptly named after the popular street where Modern Anthology resides. The fully functional contemporary briefcase is featured in both Titan Milled Brown and Waxwear Rangertan, making it a versatile piece that can easily to be dressed up or dressed down.
