These are the words that describe our brand at its core, so when an opportunity to collaborate with barber Michael Haar presented itself, we were excited to partner with someone who shared in our refined style.

Influenced by the Vaudeville era, Haar exudes a fashionable grace that extends beyond his wardrobe. Step into his world and you are immediately taken back in time. A time where men’s style and grooming reigned supreme. From his wardrobe to his home to his barber chair in NYC, his life is a reflection of his true passions.

Take a peek into the Crosby St. barbershop, Fellow Barber, and you will quickly see his distinguishing feature as a barber lies not only in his style, but in his technique. Haar uses old-fashioned methods of shaving, trimming and grooming and offers timeless hairstyles inspired by the 1920’s. A straight razor and shears work as one to create “The Quarter Shingle,” hand-operated clippers help to achieve “The Aviator” and a simple set of varying scissors present “The Vanguard.”

We designed our Haar Grooming Kit to play homage to the streamlined shaving kits of the 1920’s – a necessity for men of that era. Directly from the pages of early century catalogs, we redesigned a classic piece and gave it new life, capturing the essence of the era. Our Haar Grooming kit features a carefully crafted case with six pockets that fold and snap shut. It is perfectly tailored for small tools such as tweezers, combs, scissors and nail trimmers.

Designed with a professional barber in mind, the versatility of the bag extends beyond a grooming kit. The stylishly simple and sleek design and supple storage makes the bag extremely versatile and can also be used to hold makeup brushes, art supplies and small essentials.
