I purchased it for my husband (for our 3rd anniversary in September) to be used as a fly case (as was pictured on the postcard you sent). I love it! But, when it arrived, there was a scratch (fairly wide 1 inch long) on the leather 🙁 I assume that leather polish will take care of the scratch, but, haven’t tried it yet and, nonetheless, was disappointed.

Some people use this for fly fishing, but I’ve used it for an iPhone 5 Plus (which fit perfectly), or other medium sized objects. It’s perfect for objects that don’t require a full briefcase, but are too large for one’s pocket. And it has a terrific heft—it has that wonderful aged leather feel, and it’s much more substantial than comparable sized cases. The interior (shearling) is soft; and there’s a coin purse as well. Like all the other items I’ve purchased from M and Giles, it has the feeling of being handed down a few generations, in beautiful condition; I love it. And the customer service is among the best I’ve seen anywhere. Another wholly recommended purchase.

Wonderful travel accessory case! Quality is evident with this great item from Moore and Giles! Use for rings, watches, tie clips, cuff-links, lapel pins, etc. The interior of the case is cushioned with shearling, for added protection. It also has a small interior snap pocket for any items that you would care to separate, if desired. Great item and quality purchase!
