Match Striker

A stripe of rich Baldwin Oak leather divides the surface of this beautiful and functional solid brass match striker. Above the leather, a strip of knurled brass, whose texture will light a strike-anywhere kitchen match. The brass on the rest of the piece has been polished smooth and will patina with time and use, just like the leather. This piece was developed and cast in Virginia; it doesn’t take up much space but is unrivaled in its simple beauty and expert craftsmanship.
