Overall, this is a great pack. I use it for everyday carry for business use with a laptop. The bag looks great and is functional. Of course, being Moore & Giles, the leather is amazing and has developed a beautiful distressed look with use. Mine is the Baldwin Oak color. The padding is fantastic. Not just in the computer pocket, but all over. This obviously offers protection, but structure so it doesn’t fall over when loading. Great computer protection. The zippers are top quality and easy to use. The shoulder straps do not have a lot of padding, but are wide enough so that the padding isn’t needed. The straps are very comfortable and not bulky. The sizing is perfect for normal business carry. I carry several folders, laptop, cables, etc. no problem. Not big enough if you want to throw in gym clothes or if you carry a lot. I have now used for several months daily and would like to offer a few comments/suggestions for improvement. One, and most importantly, the side pockets are so small they are almost useless. These need to be enlarged to at least carry a small bottle of water. Or, keep them as is and add a closing top so it’s convenient for keys, wallet, etc. But for those that fly or commute often, it’s important to be able to put bottle in at least one side. There is an open pocket in the main compartment that “puffs” open, which gets in the way of sliding folders, etc. in. This pocket needs a snap or something to hold shut.
